On Friday 12 April 2019 we will be celebrating 100 years of service in Osborne Park. There will be a short memorial service at 6.00pm at the slouch hat memorial, followed by speeches and refreshments in the hall for invited guests. The City of Stirling Museum is hosting a photographic exhibition of Main Street circa 1919 at the Sub Branch in Main Street. The Sub Branch Charter was issued on 14 April 1919 and the veterans were active in civic functions from that time onwards. In addition to providing support and welfare assistance to veterans, and serving members of the Defence Forces and their families, the heritage listed memorial hall, which was opened in 1923, has been a focal point for those living and working in Main Street. This event is being funded by a generous donation from the City of Stirling.
